Changing the world from the inside out.
This is the best way to come to Findhorn and find out about what it's like - it's seven days that can change your life and your world. It is the ideal way to meet, engage with and share in this ever-evolving journey of community living.
You join in most aspects of daily life here including spending four mornings in one of our service departments - the gardens, kitchen, dining room, homecare or maintenance - giving you many opportunities to experience our practice of ‘love in action’ and to interact with other people in the community. The week also includes meditation, sacred dance, a nature outing and being part of a supportive group, all combined with laughter, love and new ways of being.
We ask that you come willing to participate fully in this rich and active week, to give of yourself and engage with others. Our aim is to create an environment that enables you to deepen your connection with all of life, and to open to transformation within yourself and the group. All of these elements are also part of the Special Experience Weeks we offer.
To read one previous participant's heartfelt account of his Experience click here.
The programme runs from Saturday to Friday evening, and includes seven nights accommodation and all meals, from the first Saturday lunchtime through until breakfast on the Saturday morning of your departure. You should arrive before noon on the first day of your Experience Week, so that the group can begin together. You need to speak and understand English reasonably well – if you cannot, we offer Experience Weeks in other languages during the summer months.
Experience Week runs at both sites of the Findhorn Foundation, The Park and Cluny Hill. There are opportunities to experience both sites during the week. Please join us for an adventure in new ways of living and relating, helping to create a positive future for humanity and our planet.
As well as our general Experience Week we also offer a variety of special interest Experience Weeks, click here for more info.
